Is ordering from OutdoorGear.net safe and secure?
Ordering on OutdoorGear.net is generally just as safe as using your credit or debit card at your local store. OutdoorGear.net uses a Security Certificate, which guarantees that you are buying directly from us, with all the data being encrypted. Additionally, we do not store your credit card information after your order is processed, so your information is guaranteed to be secure even if the site’s database was compromised.
How can I check my order status?
To check your order status, please log at the top right of your screen and proceed to the “my account” page. There you will find the details of all of your previous orders. Click the "view" button next to the order on which you would like to see more details and you can see information such as your order status and any comments or updates regarding your order.
Where do I mail payment to?
After submitting an order with the "Payment by Mail" option, you will receive our payment mailing address along with the order confirmation email. Payment should only be sent to the mailing address provided.

What is PayPal?
PayPal is the faster, safer way to pay and get paid online. PayPal acts like a digital wallet where you can securely store all your payment options, such as your bank account and credit card. When you want to make a payment, you don't have to pull out your credit card or type your billing info every time. Additionally, you don’t have to give your credit card information to the merchant from whom you are buying, thus making it that much safer to shop online.
Why use PayPal at OutdoorGear.net?
Although our payment processing software is just as safe since we do not store any of your credit card and billing information, the benefit of having a PayPal account is that your order is processed immediately since we do not have to take extra credit card and identity verification steps (provided you have a confirmed address verified by PayPal); thus, your order can be shipped out sooner.
Payment by Mail:
We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, bank checks, and certified checks (all are subject to verification and order only ships once verification is complete).
Can I change or cancel my order?
Please log in and visit your account page to see the status of your order. If your order has been processed, unfortunately, due to the speed of our system, in most circumstances we cannot change or cancel it.
If your order has not yet been processed and has the "pending" status, please email us at email@example.com with the subject line “Cancel or Change Order” followed by the order number, or call us during our regular business hours Monday-Friday from 9am to 7pm Eastern time excluding weekends and holidays.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
- Orders arrive based on the delivery method selected. We offer both USPS and UPS shipping carriers.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping rates vary depending on your location. When you add your items to your cart, you can use our shipping estimator to give you a quote on how much your shipping will cost.
Shipping cost is also based on the weight and size of the individual items you order. Occasionally, some orders may require additional shipping and handling charges because the items ordered may be oversized. In this case, we will contact you directly.
Additionally, when you purchase items with the free shipping promotion, the order may take 2-3 business days longer to process and ship out.
Returns and Exchanges policy
How do I make a return or exchange?
Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase. All returned merchandise must be in original condition along with packaging (example: warranty information, instructions, box, etc.). A 20% restocking fee will be applied to your refund. We cannot accept returns for orders over $300.00 USD.
Note: Returns or exchanges will only be accepted on items which have been worn, washed, or used in any other way.

5. Items Purchased from closeouts, specials, swimwear, underwear, and other such categories are subject to no-exchange or refund.
6. International orders cannot be refunded or exchanged due to the high cost of shipping. Due to this policy, we recommend that you use the sizing chart and place your order carefully.

What international payment methods do you accept?
For international orders, the only payments we accept are payment by PayPal and payment by mail through International Money orders, Certified Checks, Bank Checks, and Cashier’s Checks (subject to verification before shipment).
For our Canadian customers, payment can be made via your Canadian credit or debit card as well. However, we can only ship to the verified billing address of your order.
For international shipping rates, please use the shipment cost estimator found in the shopping cart or contact us for a shipping quote.
Please Note: we are not responsible for any international taxes, customs fees, and duties on any international order. It is the responsibility of the buyer to be aware of any international importing fees that may be incurred. If the package is refused and is shipped back to us, it will be treated as a return.

Free shipping on orders over $99 - Details and restrictions
UThe free shipping option for all orders over $99 is only applicable to the 48 contiguous United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and other U.S. territories or International orders).
This free shipping option can be denied if the items that are ordered are oversized or overweight. Also, this shipping option cannot be combined with any other special offers such as, but not limited to wholesale pricing, coupons and special offers, closeouts, etc.
If you use this shipping option and choose to return an item, shipping charges as well as restocking fees will be applied to your refund. If you choose to exchange an item, a shipping charge will be added on to in order to ship your exchanged product.
